Highway and Road Widening Paving Services
A portion of the work load we take on consists of various municipal projects. We competitively bid these projects, low bidder wins type situations. Over the years we have performed projects with values up to $2 million. We’ve worked with the NCDOT, various state departments, many towns, etc. Project have ranged from new parking lot installations, to municipal road resurfacing contracts. We are fully licensed and pre-qualified to perform such projects.
Road widenings are another area we have a lot of experience with. As Raleigh and the surrounding areas continue to grow, the infrastructure needs to grow as well. A popular way to ease traffic is to widen the roads. This is something often required of private developers and business as well when they move onto a busy street. They will often have to, at a minimum, provide a turn lane for traffic into their site. We have performed many road widening projects for various municipalities and on the private side. Our crews are very familiar with the requirements for construction in these areas and are certified to work in the roadways.
